The Echelon Project
Funded bike Principality Community Foundation Wales, the Bike Chain 2.0 is a project designed to tear down the barriers that prevent LGBTQIA+ individuals from accessing cycling, while building and strengthening community. Throughout 2024 we will be working with LGBTQIA+ people building bikes, as well as teaching people who have not previously learned how to cycle.

Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, the Echelon Project will be running from February 2024. We will be offering adult cycle training, in-house mechanics' surgeries, in-house bike maintenance classes and professionally led group rides to local charities, small businesses and community organizations within Cardiff, especially those run by and for People of Colour, Disabled People, LGBTQIA+ People and those who are multiply marginalized.
