Puncture Class

We'll show you how to get the wheels off, get the tyre off, how to mend inner tubes and how to get it all put back together again. We'll also go over the basic terminology, so don't be worried.

We'll go over basic wheel vacab, as well as showing you how spokes, cones, ball bearings and axles work, and how to adjust and maintain them.

This class covers basic gear vocab, how external derailleur gear systems work, and how to repair and maintain them.

We'll cover how to adjust, repair and maintain cable pull rim and disc brakes, as well as introducing you to the basic terminology.

Get to Know Your Bike

We want to empower you to cycle as far as you want. We hope to give you the confidence to take ownership of your bike. 

We'll be covering the fundamentals of bike maintenance as well as teaching you how to do a basic "m check" on your bike. To start, we'll do an introduction to the key vocabulary of the parts of your bike, as well as a look at the names and uses of the tools you should have in your essential repair kit. 

The class will be followed by an all-ability ride, lead by an experienced rider and  mechanic (myself). The ride is free to participate in, and you are welcome to come along whether or not you attend the class. 

This is a safe space for womxn and LGBTQ+ people.
